Good Morning Friends.  As I mentioned in my last post, because there are so many Scripture Verses that include the word “IF” , I’ve decided to spend some more time looking at some of them.  Hope you don’t mind?

And because we will soon be celebrating Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, I’ve chosen to look at verses that seem most relevant to our Lord and Saviour’s sacrifice for us.

Let’s begin this journey by looking at these 2  verse:  Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  and then Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

These truths are certainly very relevant to this coming weekend.

Romans 10:9 “IF you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

John 15:13-14 “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends IF you do what I command.”

John 14:2 “In my Father’s house are many rooms; IF it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And IF I go, and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Romans 10:9 “IF you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

1 Thess 5:14  “For IF we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep (died) in him.  According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep (died).”
